As yet another day it dies
Another night is born
Mountains become darker
Watching the sunset yawn

As stars appear high above
A full moon rises slowly high
Relaxing with coffee in hand
A beautiful all is I can't deny

Appreciating this time of day
Peace of mind exists just now
With woes of the world many
To unfounded stress not to bow

Two birds fly past moon bright
Returning where they call home
Wealthier than so many are they
Not being at this time alone

Not the planet I was born on
How things change so over time
As just now another day it dies
Peace upon earth just now is mine
