SLOWLY FADING

Yesterdays getting further away
Fading as the walk into the past
All are memories most older to be
But memories never the less last

So much of them stressed about
Once more so than they are now
Calmer the walk through today
A relief in it's self true somehow

Good that with them taking woe
Each day way less to care of true
A peace I never before knew comes
As day by day slowly going through

Thinking more the day that's here
Time they say heals older woes
Yesterdays was less thought of now
A calmness arrives as each one goes

More so memories of things I liked
I once did like to do but not any more
Kept a few love to do maybe one or two
Among them gardening poetry for sure

It's a blessing with much loved fading
They once took up so much of my time
Gone with them endless stresses in life
At last my very life is once again mine
