Thank You, Lord, for this Message and I need to yield to Your Spirit instead of my flesh.
I need to control my emotions.
My flesh is my natural, carnal desires.
There is a battle between the flesh and the Spirit.
My flesh is my carnal desires.
I need to take my feelings off of the throne.
I need to den myself.
I need to die to myself.
I need to go beyond the surface.
My feelings will mislead me.
I will never grow if I am always comfortable.
No discipline at the time seems pleasant.
I need to think about later on.
I need to bridle my tongue.
The flesh is not going to run my life.
My flesh is not the boss of me.
The flesh always likes to be comfortable.
I need to pay the price of discipline for today.
I need to make decisions based off of Your wisdom.
I need to choose discipline today.
Your Spirit tries to warn me.
What I want is not always best for me.
The flesh and the Spirit are constantly at odds.
I am not going to live on the surface level.
I need to reign over my feelings.
I need to do the right thing even when it is hard.
I need to sow to the Spirit.
I need to say NO to my feelings.
The Book of Romans mentions following the dictates of the flesh and I need to follow the Spirit.
Just because I feel it doesn't mean that I should act on it.
Living by what I feel is a very shallow way to live.
I need to dethrone my flesh.
Enough is enough.
I need to be ruled by the Spirit.
I need to take my feelings off of the throne every day.
I need to say NO to certain feelings.
1 Corinthians
Everything is permissible but not profitable.
This is a new day.
I need to make decisions that honor You.
I need to quit feeding certain feelings, especially the feelings of frustration and discouragement.
I can't pray the ordinary impulses away.
I need to quit feeding them.
Proverbs
You have given me self-control.
I need to say NO to my flesh.
Spiritual maturity has to do with what kind of fruit I am manifesting.
I need to rule over my emotions.
