The man who I wanted to leave me alone wanted me to be vulnerable.
He wanted me to express my emotions.
He also wanted me to be different from those around me.
Your power shows up greatest in my weaknesses.
My sin is self-righteousness and my weakness is not wanting to get in trouble.
People who judge you without getting to know you are not being honest with themselves.
True friends accept you as you are.
You are looking for the real me.
Philippians 3
The Apostle Paul wrote over half of the books in the New Testament.
I need to be real.
I am still struggling with the desire for independence from the family.
I need to humble myself and empty my pride.
My self-righteousness is really a form of pride, which is my sin.
I need to take off the mask.
Matthew 3-11
I have doubts and I have questions just like many.
I can't overcome a weakness if I don't get it out in the open.
You are waiting for the real me.
You don't expect me to be perfect although I desire to be perfect.
My desire to be perfect is a form of self-righteousness.
John 4
I need to be honest.
I still desire freedom and I will have more freedom when I am able to drive.
I am grateful for the cousin who takes me to church on Sunday mornings.
You know my struggles and weaknesses.
I need strength to overcome my weaknesses and I need faith to do the right thing.
It's okay to be vulnerable to the children, teens, graduates and job seekers.
They need to know that they are not alone and they need acceptance.
I don't have it all together.
Your power shows up the greatest in our weaknesses.
I need to be at peace with not being perfect.
You are still working on me.

I worry too much about what everyone thinks of me.
