Oh we have all the respect for all rightly so
But some memories often are forgotten true
About a few things we all should remember
I for one remember grand parents and a few
Things like when the P M of England had sent
Endless Aussies to the wrong beach at the time
Ever so many Aussies would not have been butchered
As they walked right into open fire to land from brine
Sitting back cigar in hand not that he gave a hoot
That endless Aussies blown to smithereens on that day
Way too many choose to forgive and forget it seemed
And simply chose to look as if the other way
A few things more should remember mistakes made
As if better swept under the first as if world war mat
I for one remember a lot more than some things done
Mat they never be forgotten ever no doubting that
