That time of year again once more
A time of year most do ever so adore
Christmas lights and trees for sure
Special wishes sent mostly to the poor

At our place family visit loved one's too
Staying awhile to see Christmas through
A happy time for all enjoying old and new
Just wish dearly all on earth could be true

A time I feel less religiously politically lead
A chance to have things as all should be
With love happiness good food to enjoy
And less of all one sees upon daily T V

Oh Santa Clause a first ever time for you
Would be a good time in your longest life
To stay at home with all the elves that be
Instead this time simply send your wife

My only Christmas wish is for one and all
To enjoy more so see it through this year
With way more sincere love for one and all
To replace an endless smile without a tear
