শহরের শেষ মাথায়..
সূর্য ছেড়ে গেছে ঘর,
আর হৃদয়!
অকাল বিচ্ছেদে আকাশ কাঁদে
সূর্য ভেজে তার জলে
অনেকটা সময় তবু
সূর্য ফেরে না!
নিখিলের হিসেবে ভুল ছিল
কালের যাত্রায় তাড়াহুড়ো
স্মৃতিরা যেন যৌবন ছুঁলো
কেবল সূর্যটাই আঁধার চেনে না!

In Memory of the Pilot Lara

On the way to the town’s limit,
The sun has left its habitat
Together with its heart!

Because of the initial break,
The sky is flooded with tears,
To sunbathe in the rain
It has been a long time
Yet the sun is not coming.

The universe is not perfect in its counting,
Haste over the course of time travelling.
Memories increase their adolesence,
Only the sun cannot see the darkness!
