Forget not what you were taught,
Let your heart keep His commands;
You will not become distraught,
Faced from the daily demands.

They will provide a long life,
As they add a well-being;
Help you to cope with the strife,
The scope how you are seeing.

Do not let truth and mercy,
Allowing them to depart;
Avoiding controversy,
By writing them in your heart.

You will be finding favor,
Having an understanding;
A smile on your Savior,
Rather than reprimanding.

Trust in the Lord with your heart,
Relying not on your own;
But continue to impart,
By memory is known.

Acknowledge Him in your ways,
And He will make your paths straight;
Living the Law through all days,
So, you not fall by ill-fate.

Do not think that you are wise,
Turn away from the evil;
Satan will wear a disguise,
Will try to make you marvel.

Refresh while revealing,
How your inner self strengthens;
As it will bring you healing,
Causing your life that lengthens.

Honor the Lord with your wealth,
From the first fruits of your yield;
The Lord ensures you good health,
An abundance from your field.

Then your barn completely full,
Your vats overflow with wine;
Your sheep with quality wool,
Be thankful to the Divine.

Despise not the discipline,
That chastises from the Lord;
Be sure to confess your sin,
Remaining in one accord.
