Peace with God
Since our faith has justified,
We have peace with God through the Lord;
On the cross He was crucified,
That so many have just ignored.
Accessed by faith also obtained,
Into this grace in which we stand;
Rejoice in hope that is retained,
The glory of God to demand.
We rejoice in the suffering,
Known to produce the endurance;
That hope in Christ gives buffering,
Tribulations cause builds the patience.
Endurance gives you character,
Character produces the hope;
With Jesus as my instructor,
Gives me confidence helps me cope.
For hope does not put us to shame,
As His love pours into your heart;
Giving confidence to proclaim,
For a new day and new start.
Because while we were still weak,
At the right time Jesus had died;
For the ungodly that did seek,
The reason of the crucified.
For someone who will scarcely die,
Of a good person who would dare;
Even to die to wonder why,
With life in order to declare.
But God has shown His love for us,
That while we were still sinners;
Since Jesus Christ has died as thus,
Allowing us to be winners.
We have been now as justified,
Being saved from the wrath of God;
From the blood of the crucified,
Who we need to honor and laud.
For if we had been enemies,
Reconciled to God by the death;
To erase your iniquities,
Able to give you a new breath.
