A poem for you this evening

"STAR RISE"

The oceans salt dries upon tidal rock as light fades
Memory of auburn hair tassels in cool trades
Bronze her tone, Hazel eyes radiant
Depth of song within
A resonant sound from distant shore
Reflections of evening light
Enchanting melody my northern star of the night
Across the darkening sea she rises to greet me upon the waves.
Calm...her inviting heart
Warm ocean smiles and reflects her sparkle
Cresting waves lyrical in nature find the perfect rhythm as our horizons disappear
Earth and sky blend together darken
Starlit the hemisphere
High above to paint her artistry upon my eyes of blue
Lyrical charm intrigues my soul of worn shoe
Radiance of late day sun against my flesh as evening palms cool
Warmth of the stars to fill my heart
within my grasp or forever apart
To touch the aloha of a friends greeting
Across the mist of the makai
A crescent moon rises
Sillohouette of polynesian cliffs
A new spirit surprises
A lyrical melody attracts
My northern star of distant light
Dance with me into the night
