Its a shame when you come to know
That you are now considered old~
Way before your very time
For this is what you've been told~
Old age is growing younger
Getting younger every day~
The way life is going now it seems
We'll all soon be cast along the way~
Children growing up too soon
Not waiting to mature~
No experience in life anymore
But they feel they can alone endure~
Once an old man was an old man
Now an old man is younger still-
According to some younger generations
Grow older faster he always will-
Younger they feel they've endless time on side
Sometimes being cruel without knowing~
Too wrapped up in growing up
To see which way the wind is blowing~
Old age is growing younger
Getting younger every day~
Won't be long and our children
Will be too old to simply play~
Old age is growing younger faster
Faster it seems every day~
I cant work out how to fix it
To put things back the same old way~
Old age is growing younger faster
How it all seems so very strange~
Old age is growing younger faster
How old age ...How time has rearranged~
