WHERE ARE ALL THE LITTLE BIRDS

I live within the Philippines and sadly it's so
There are no little singing birds about anywhere
Only the sparrows plenty of them are they around
No amount of flowering trees beyond compare

If only they would grow them more so all over
And ban the selling of slug guns to young guys
One would see with endless glee so many birds
To be seen and fill the Filipino bluest skies

Sparrows lots of them about always treasure them
But flowering trees I suppose don't make money
For little birds of such beautiful songs to sing
Who simply adore flowering trees flowers and honey

Endless flowering trees plentiful to be obtained
And they beaytify all within their svery sight
Have those coming here feel we are proud and have pride
In our country with attracting little birds seen in flight

But instead we sell slug guns to would be's if could be's
With attitudes with lots to be in life so very desired so
To find any little birds one could decribe in words
One would have to climb a mountain so very high to go

Grow the flowering trees for both birds and the bees
Show pride in country filipino and give good reason
For little birds to enjoy the trees along with the bees
As they flower endlessly within their flowering season
