Never thought I'd in all my life see the day arrive
Where I of so many things simply did'nt understand
Not a chance I can say I had any idea of things done
What ever so many hope to aventually say they've won

Of all living things upon earth Ants are seventy percent
Then comes all that exists microscopic to all forms of life
And in some place comes the human race has me wonder
Why humans feel important with their self created strife

It's to me so sad to see and insects up work hard to live
Today here we have a planet of those trying to destroy all
And cannot for the life of them too closed minded as to see
Insisting they only know the way to to answer lifes call

If any asked me to in a few words to explain earths mess
Only insanity would be one of them that came to my mind
I honesty try best I can then sigh so much beauty missed
So many wonderful things each new day it always brings
For endless powers that be a reality very seldom kissed

Theres a song sung by a guy I met in passing long ago
I listen to it now and then trying to explain to my soul
Yet soon I'll turn seventy six I never thought I'd see
The likes of the way things are in many places on earth
I never thought I'd see so many not knowing simplicity
