Upon An Oldest Grave

Walking through a cemetery
Just thinking of my dad~
All those good oldest memories
Of back when I was just a lad~

Down the road came a line of cars
Headed by a hearse~
So I sat down upon an oldest grave
And it was there I saw a verse~

It took my eye , the reason why
It was written as if upon a scroll~
written in the earliest of print
Away back in the days of old~

Rewritten in my Own Words..

I came into this world with nothing
I'm now going out with same~
I've almost lived three lifetimes
I've no regrets no body I have to blame~

I've loved and been loved many times
Known all forms of beauty in my stride~
Traveled over time so very vastly so
Enjoyed it all with love and pride~

I've got memories by the million
All mostly are good positive and true~
I die one of the most fore-filled souls
Done almost all I ever dreamed I'd do~

I've seen positivity in most souls
It was always within somewhere to see~
Every soul in their own way trying to find
Peace of mind despite their diversities~

Now with no regrets I take my leave
And bid this entire world goodbye-
And I'm traveling yet to another place
To where they say good souls never die-
