As a younger guy little things I loved
That were then a part of my growing days
Used to have me turn around look back
Appreciating them as if a kind of craze

Like clacking of high heels on concrete
Making their music on a saterday night
And like the swaying of a hip hung dress
To the walking of an angel and the sight

I loved away back then their perfume worn
Mostly one away back then called blue grass
Hair dancing to motion of the whole thing
Longest legs such sight and sound of class

I loved special after shaves I wore then
One called Heaven another Jupe I'd use
Loving to dance as then I really could
My suits of finest material feeling loose

I then taught dancing and loved to dance
Most of my parteners could dance anyway
They just loved different music as I did
Polished floors dim lights movements sway

Getting lost in motions like swells oceans
Saterday nights then were treasured ever so
Ballroom dancing at it's best away back then
All as if then well known oceans gentle flow

Finest ever clothes both them and I in the day
Beautiful music back then owned ones very soul
As well being then the birth of rock and roll
Within finest times of once lived days of old

Nobody owned anyone all as one borrowed angels
Partners I will never in time ever could forget
As if one was in love for finest moments grand
Times I enjoyed so perfect motions no regret

I loved after often walking moonlit beaches
Long frocks tucked in some shoes held in hand
Finest wine lips ever divine waves there dying
As they surrended within the smoothest sand

The nights spent in finest hotels back then
In company pure angels reluctant to go home
Knowing the love of motion hotel or floor
Saterday nights were never spent then alone

Nobody told of secrets just as if time out
We all had our favorites back then ever true
Back then abanoning all as stars lit walls
How I remember loved saterday nights I do
