Always Flowers

Long ago it was always true its so
There was always beautiful blooms
In vases upon the tables everywhere
Decorating all ones homes and rooms

All picked from our very own grown garden
Fresh and fragrent were they all then
All different kinds to rest hearts and minds
As one went from room to room back when

How I can still see and remember them
How beautiful and so precious were they
Always the loveliest flowers in a vase
In every room every day on such display

I often wonder if souls like in days of old
Still pick garden flowers for their home
Today even I still love to see them there
Bringing much love and joy all on their own.

Even now I love so to grow my lovely roses
All giving their beauty ever so as they do
Many colors and fragrances sizes and shapes
Decorating my world on a daily display true
