Debatable who the first writer of poetry was
Back before town cryers of a longest time ago
Always once written in words of rhyme once
The voice of the soul in poetic form to know

Explaining feelings emotions points of view
Of romance and children's inspirational love
Beauty to be found through eyes of the soul
Togetherness from mountains seas skies above

Earliest poetry becoming song words of dance
So long ago in earths own time days of old
Poetry a wonderful imagination to minds ears
In many ways gave thoughts of love life so bold

Later in life hearts being told by the un-poetic
How it should written worded and put to verse
But poetic licence still then alive and well
And the as if to be academics effort was worse

Poetry of freedom live and let live all as one
Like nany things in life was tested by a few
As religions and politics and many still today
Became from then the only one's as said knew

Racism sexist positions imagined many in life
The reason Adam and Eve became to man a tool
Attitudes way less than perfect soon became law
As if the moon instructing the sun like a fool

But all always was and all always will be as ever
No different than the first as if poem ever written
The very voice of the soul since oldest days of old
Will be a freedom any debating same eventually smitt'en
