Sun peeping over ocean horizon far away
Waves creeping in to die upon wet sand..
Coolest very early morning breeze about
As daylight takes the night by demand..
Beach without a single footprint at all
Smallest crabs run for cover thus to hide..
Dimmest grey clouds still low and asleep
As a brand new day moves in with pride..
Small pieces of driftwood wait to be found
Small shells of color waiting for coming sun..
Pink now skies away brighter still upon show
As another night becomes darker for someone..
Small fish swim closer behind waves small..
Almost a shame to leave footprints behind..
Gulls fly in expectation of a bight to find
Lazily about upon ocean water still unkind..
A ship now in sight so far still away to see
As thoughts of yesterdays they come and go..
Places I've been sights I've seen an old dream
Another day to once again slowly come to know..
Music from ocean near sings it's natural song
Sunshine becoming braver as it has it's way..
Walking slowly my thinking what a it seems
That you aren't with me here and now today..
Thoughts they come of some I've met of late
In passing not so very long ago along life's way..
Thinking of what some they think God might be
My knowing he is life and for sure he is this day..
Hoping my being a piece of a jigsaw in this life
That I find a place within it all and it's creation..
Not daring to make a single plan within it all
Being satisfied with life and it's own expectation..
Sun brighter now ocean turns to golden light
This morn upon beach still new and fresh yet be..
Air of delight it fills my lungs with life this morn
On morning beach walk of pure living ecstasy..
