The lines have fallen for me,
Beautiful inheritance;
In pleasant places to see,
If I’m in God’s compliance.

I bless God who gives advice,
In the night my heart instructs;
Never having to think twice,
If and when the devil obstructs.

I set the Lord before me,
Because He is at my right hand;
I shall never be shaken,
For the Lord in in command.

Therefore, my heart shall be glad,
My whole being rejoices;
My flesh also not be sad,
It dwells hearing their voices.

God won’t send my soul to hell,
The Lord does see corruption;
It is Heaven where I dwell,
Avoids Satan’s disruption.

He makes known my path in life,
At His right hand are pleasures;
No more being filled with strife,
In presence of His treasures.
