I say to walk by the Spirit,
And not gratify desire;
Avoiding the worldly merit,
That the devil would require.

Lusts that the flesh would desire,
Are against the Holy Spirit;
They merely make you admire,
Earthly things that will discredit.

That discredits you by the Lord,
And causes you to become flawed;
Whenever you would have ignored,
Far away from the Word of God.

The Spirit leads you and your merit,
For you are not under the Law;
Manifesting to inherit,
Enabled to receive the call.

Calls are blocked by iniquities,
That are causing envy and strife;
From any immoralities,
That you have lusted in your life.

The fruit of the Spirit is love,
Through faith bringing you joy and peace;
A goodness that comes from above,
Flowing blessings that will not cease.

Those who belong to Jesus Christ,
Desires have been crucified;
Heaven is lovingly enticed,
To anyone who does abide.
