Be not surprised at a trial,
When it comes upon you to test;
Something strange of your lifestyle,
In not doing for what is best.

But rejoice to share sufferings,
So you rejoice for being glad;
Glory reveals His buffering,
So that no longer you be sad.

If affront for the name of Christ,
He will shine His glory to bless;
Because His Spirit has enticed,
Avoiding that you not transgress.

Let not you suffer as a thief,
Or as a doer of evil;
No longer be a cause of grief,
Doing the work of the devil.

If you suffer as a Christian,
Glorify in the name of God;
Keep a spiritual intention,
To sincerely honor and laud.

For the Day of Judgment is near,
And it begins with you and me;
If your faith is truly sincere,
The Lord will be able to see.

If the righteous is scarcely saved,
What will become of the sinner;
When temptations have still enslaved,
Never to become a winner.

Let those who suffer per His will,
Entrust their souls to their Savior;
A true Creator will instill,
Gives His blessings to shine His favor.
