The Law of the Lord is perfect,
Reviving both the soul and heart;
Making wise with simple respect,
For man and woman to impart.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
The commandments of God are pure;
If abiding gives your insight,
On how you are able to soar.
Rejoice in your heart, enlighten eyes,
With the commandments of the Lord;
Their knowledge be making you wise,
For becoming in one accord.
Fear of the Lord will make you fair,
For the rules of the Lord are true;
Showing how much God does care,
Enduring trials before you.
