The Saints knew that Jesus was coming close
so many rejected Him and hissed and turned up their nose
Mary and John were smoking their packs
and Gina was downing her liquor and eating her snacks
The noble man explained to the lost
"Jesus died for you on the cross"
He further went on to say
"and He could come back on the clouds any day"
And then one night a great trumpet did sound
All the dead in Christ were stirred and aroused
But one man that had been immersed
stole from the poor ladies purse
Then the angels announced with glee
"come my righteous inherit the kingdom Jesus has come to thee"
The man that had been immersed yelled at the top of his lungs
"you gave me no warning of when you'd come"
But as He gathered His elect and rose out of sight
"I told you I'd come like a thief in the night"
