Officer Dog and his cousins really want to excel in their classes. However, they have to stay home in order to protect society as Covid 19 and its various variants. They are blessed to have teachers and supervisors who trust them to work while being alone especially since none of them like to be interrupted or distracted. This is because continual disruptions often result in mistakes that could have otherwise been avoided if they had been left alone.
Speaking of mistakes, the animals decide that it is easier to devise a quiz where they can give each other clues while the others try to guess. With a game like the Pyramid, they can quiz each other while remaining socially distanced. In the traditional version, there are two round tables and a pair of players at each table to make four total contestants.
In the virtual version, however, the contestants can give clues and guess from home via their electronic devices. While Officer Dog and Ducky use their tablet, the other animals use their cellular phones to quiz one another. Although the contestants have the freedom to choose any category, the host recommends that they choose a good category since some categories are harder than others.
In this edition of the Pyramid, there are seven categories since they are taking 7 classes: Arts and Humanities; Natural and Social Sciences; Computer and Technology; Life Skills; Physical Education and Health; Review and Test Preparation; and Professional Development. Indeed, these classes are offered at the Police Dog Academy as well as the College and Career Preparation Institute. Nonetheless, these traditional learning environments had to close down because of the global pandemic.
Still, the students are grateful that they can continue to learn while protecting society. Officer Dog's best friend and teacher Professor Ducky will join all of the dogs as a fellow contestant in the hopes that the students at all of the students will win extra credit points that will help them on their next test, quiz, paper, or project...
