I testify in the Lord,
That you must no longer walk;
Like Gentiles that ignored,
Futility of their talk.

An understanding darkened,
Alienated life from God;
Not attentive as harkened,
From those who honor and laud.

The ignorance as in them,
Due to their hardness of heart;
The blindness that God will condemn,
Rationality does depart.

They are becoming callous,
Feeling of lasciviousness;
Getting drunk in their palace,
No sense of courteousness.

Greedy for impurity,
But not how you learned from Christ;
Grow in your maturity,
Letting not earth be enticed.

Assuming that you have heard,
As taught with the truth of Christ;
Comprehending of the Word,
And why He was sacrificed.

Put away of your old ways,
The life of former manners;
Deceitful craving that strays,
Desires causing scammers.

Renew spirit of your mind,
As you put on the new man;
While being humbly kind,
Following God and His plan.

Create a likeness of God,
Created in righteousness;
Showing Him honor and laud,
While in true holiness.
