I wonder oh I wonder why? That God
Sent us His only begotten Son to
The people of the earth only to be
Born and than again to die? God
Gave us His very best gift of all!

I wonder oh I wonder why? God
Allowed his only beloved Son
To be born in a manager in
Bethlehem. Only to be raised by
A poor carpenter like Joseph,
And His mother Mary.

I wonder oh I wonder why?
God the Father really told
His only begotten Son,"Go
And rescue my people from
Their sins!"

I wonder oh I wonder why?
When Jesus Christ, The
Jewish Messiah walked amongst
Men He would care for the very
greatest and least of them?

I wonder oh I wonder why?
What God the Father thought
When He witnessed His most
Prized possession to become
Mocked and ridiculed by
Mere human people!

I wonder oh I wonder why?
When Jesus Christ when He
Was being crucified? "He
Did not sent ten thousand
Angels to destroy the world
And set Him free!"

I wonder oh I wonder why?
It was because Jesus loved
Them and He loves you and
Me.

"He gave His life what
More could He give? Oh how
He loved you! Oh how he loved
Me! Oh how He loved you and
Me! A-Men!
