As you always obeyed,
Not just in my presence;
No need to be afraid,
More so in my absence.

Work out your salvation,
Through your fear and trembling;
Faith builds a foundation,
And in Christ resembling.

For God who works in you,
Works for His good pleasure;
So that we can construe,
Of being His treasure.

Do all without grumbling,
And having no disputes;
Living without mumbling,
If someone else refutes.

You can be innocent,
Blameless without blemish;
Being beneficent,
All that you cherish.

Shine as lights in the world,
In this perverse nation;
As violence is hurled,
Causing complication.

Cling to the Word of life,
That in the day of Christ;
Able to cope with strife,
When this world has enticed.

I have not run in vain,
Through labor and leisure;
As I endured the pain,
Through a search and seizure.

I am poured as a drink,
Offered as sacrificed;
For faith does make you think,
That you belong to Christ.

I am glad and rejoice,
Likewise you should as well;
With joy lift up your voice,
About where you will dwell.
