I hope to come to you soon,
But I am writing these things;
Before seeing the blood moon,
As for seeing what it brings.

But if I tary too long,
That you know how to behave;
So, you are not doing wrong,
That lets sin make you a slave.

For the household of the Lord,
The church of the living God;
A pillar in one accord,
The truth we honor and laud.

For great is the mystery,
Of godliness we confess;
Disregarding blasphemy,
So that the truth we will bless.

In the flesh, God manifests,
Justified in the Spirit;
Setting up of His conquests,
Of what we will inherit.

Among the nations proclaimed,
Unto the Gentiles as preached;
Iniquities be ashamed,
Seen by angels has outreached.

Those who believed in the world,
Be taken not in glory;
Into the fire be hurled,
For deeds they are not sorry.
