Whether they like it or not,
Love will still be rife
Whether they choose to or not

Though of Jerusalem they say:
"The daughter of Zion shall cry,
For lack of a lover and light.
She will have a dry breast and die."
Yet, I make bold to say:
Charter Love's hill in all degree,
For Love will still be rife!
In this land of Anatoth
Where of ye say is "abandoned and spoiled",
Men will still buy lands, subscribe evidences and seal,
Young men will marry virgins and have kids,
For love will still be rife.
