Life was icky and yucky,
A little while ago.
How did I get this lucky,
I don’t even know.
I was eating a bagel,
Sipping my drink of sorrow,
Then, appeared an angel,
Took me into tomorrow.
There was a change of the weather,
Faith has thrown a party.
Since then, we’re together,
Till one of us is departing.
I still drink on occasion,
We sit at the same table.
Today, our relation,
Is pretty much stable.
