Let all of you be quick to hear,
Slow to anger and slow to speak;
Remembering the Lord is near,
And He knows of what you will seek.

The wrath of man does not produce,
Any righteousness of God;
That is attempting to seduce,
The righteous in becoming flawed.

Put away all your filthiness,
Receive with meekness of the Word;
Which destroys all the wickedness,
That you have seen, and you have heard.

But you be doers of the Word,
Do not only be the hearers;
Supporting what said by the Lord,
Deceive no one as reverers.

If a hearer, not a doer,
Conceit is who looks in the mirror,
Who is never a pursuer,
And never as a sincerer.

He sees himself and goes away,
At once forgets what he was like;
Chances are that he has gone astray,
Telling others to take a hike.

If you look to the perfect Law,
Law of liberty persevere;
It helps for avoiding a flaw,
While you remain as sincere.

Being a hearer will forget,
While a doer always acts;
He will be avoiding a debt,
And blessed remembering the facts.

If someone thinks as religious,
And does not bridle of his tongue;
Could not ever be prestigious,
When deception just might be flung.

Religion must be undefiled,
Before the Father being pure;
Being an adopted child,
Avoiding a deceptive lure.
