The Joy of Forgiveness

Bless be the one whose transgression;
Whose covered sin is forgiven;
Because of sincere confession,
Accepted by God in Heaven.

Bless be the man of whom the Lord,
No longer counts iniquity;
No guile that has been ignored,
With giving them an amnesty.

When deciding to keep silent,
My bones started wasting away;
As the days had become violent,
The groans and roars causing to stray.

For day and night with heavy hands,
My strength dried up from summer heat;
My ear were deaf to His commands,
My body heavy for my feet.

I confessed to God of my sin,
Acknowledged my iniquity;
I confess corruption within,
He forgave to give purity.

Everyone who is godly,
To offer a prayer at a time;
Having an unhealthy body,
After committing any crime.

Let the Lord be your hiding place,
Who will preserve you from trouble;
Deliverance through giving grace,
And pulling you out of rubble.

The Lord will instruct you and teach,
Of the direction you should go;
He will counsel you how to reach,
Knowledge and wisdom as to know.

Be not like the mule or the horse,
Not having the understanding;
Bit and bridle to stay the course,
Without any reprimanding.

Of the wicked many sorrows,
No steadfast love for surrounding;
Unknowing of their tomorrows,
Toils and strife are abounding.

But steadfast love surrounds the one,
Who will be trusting in the Lord;
Be glad in the Father and Son,
The Holy Spirit is adored.
