Lock down lock up stay at home
don't hang around. The porpoise
jumped for it's reward. I'm sitting
at the edge of his pool. Warm blue
water glistening in the sunlight.
A misty spray covers me.

We all wear our masks many
designs and colors. Everyone is
miles apart from each other. Not a
cloud in the blue sky. No birds
flying in the air. Steel lamp posts
turned off. Muffled human cheers.
Reflections of vehicles passing by.
Such organization and control.

No one knows. Everyone cares.
When is the deadline? I wish the
snack booths were open. I wish
the markers and the signs would
disappear. Patience is a virtue I'm
told. But enough is enough. I've
heard that it is the new normal.
It's seems like the old normal to
me.
