A love to strum my sleepy heart of poetic verse in pure magnificence
A chord of sacred passion to lift my sails into silky clouds of nebulous
Stirs my direction of stars of an adolescent kiss

My mind stirs like copper kettles of moonshine on the southern Carolina mist
Winds aloft of the whiskey corn mash through deep hollows of forest
Inebriates my senses with her waves of sweet romance

Her fragrance triggers the heart... filtering through the Hickory trees of remembrance
On the backroads of my mind a familiar smell of lush Mountain Laurel fragrance
My heart of Dixie innocence
Swimming in the aroma of her river morning mist
Blending songs of melody weave our story of fate and fertile elements
Migrating on the boundaries of soulful consciousness and Newton laws of science
