His divine power granted things,
Pertains to life and godliness;
Through the knowledge of Him that brings,
The glory of His blessedness.

He has granted to His precious,
And His very great promise;
Grows faith no longer suspicious,
Having a spiritual premise.

Being of a divine nature,
By escaping the corruption;
As becoming a new creation,
Avoiding sinful disruption.

Make an effort to supplement,
Knowledge for faith having virtue;
That is giving a complement,
Adds to your spiritual value.

For knowledge gives you self-control,
A self-control with steadfastness;
That will be protecting your soul;
For steadfastness brings godliness.

It builds brotherly affection,
Brotherly affection with love;
Bring you spiritual perfection,
From all these qualities thereof.

They keep you from being barren,
Ineffective or unfruitful;
Knowledge of the Lord is not gone,
For Heaven is so delightful.

Whoever lacks these qualities,
Are so nearsighted they are blind;
Do not have the abilities,
While being patient and kind.

Be more diligent to confirm,
Your calling for your election;
If you practice for the long term,
Will not fall in your selection.

You will be richly provided,
On entry into His Kingdom;
With our Lord be united,
In His knowledge and His wisdom.
