Once old school values ruled my every day
Once how people really cared for each other..
Once almost all one knew as family members
Once generations same sisters and brothers..
Now I find I'm living on a planet I know not
Attitudes all changed values old now gone away..
Religions responsible for wars greed unending
All feeling Karma will never have the final say..
Endless civilizations over time gone for ever
Many under now oceans others vanished from earth..
A concern closed minds never over time learn..
Histories of them only imagined by the unknowing
Endless pasts so long ago gone once would burn..
And here and now I find myself living in a world
That I after all my learning I really do not know..
Feeling there must be a future beyond comprehension
Here and now endless hurting others always it is so..
