Living life day to day
Too busy to take time
Going as fast as we can
Not mindful of our ways
Wondering as we look back
Where did the time go
Memories of younger days
When slower was the pace
A tear shed for lost time
Children are all grown
With kids of their own
Time to get out of the race
A smile on the little ones faces
As stories fill their ears
Memories they will remember
