Just as sin came into the earth,
That caused the death through just one man;
Then spread to each one given birth,
And of limiting their lifespan.

For sin indeed was in the world,
Prior to the Law was given;
But no Law on sin could be hurled,
Before coming down from Heaven.

Death reigned from Adam to Moses,
Even over those whose sinning;
No transgressions on the premise,
Because of not disciplining.

Adam had been a prototype,
The upcoming anointed One;
Never to have grumble or gripe,
Being as the heavenly Son.

A free gift not like the trespass,
That many had died for one guilt;
In which is affecting the mass,
That iniquities have been built.

How much more has the grace of God,
The free gift that is gained through Christ;
Confession which will cleanse where flawed,
From wickedness that has enticed.

The free gift is not like the sin,
For judgment after one transgress;
Brought out condemnation within,
To give us heavenly access.

Because of one iniquity,
Death will still reign from that one man;
Coming from immorality,
For the free will since time began.

One sin led to condemnation,
As it takes our life away;
Righteous acts bring vindication,
If confessing when gone astray.

Disobedience makes sinners,
Obedience will make us righteous;
Confession will make us winners,
Avoiding from being licentious.

The Law had come in to increase,
But where sin also multiplied;
Iniquities never did cease,
But pardoned through the crucified.
