Category: /General/Shoulders were only so wide enough
I tried to make up
For my lack of charm
The ordinary dress
The bottom of the popularity polls
By trying to carry everything
For I could do only so much
In came the naysayers on cue
See the litany above
Chatting away in their echo chambers
With inane and false theories
As they savagely stabbed at my flesh
And it wasn’t a surprise
I’ve been right all along
And will continue to share the truth
While they continue to believe the lie.
Yet, I’m not immune from any sins
I’m not terrified of admitting them
I will not be their martyr
I will not be their sacrifice
The burden is now squarely upon them
They can pick up the slack now.
