I saw before me the high priest,
Stood by the angel of the Lord;
As Satan with his wild beast,
Impeaching not to be ignored.

The Lord is rebuking Satan,
And has chosen Jerusalem;
Because he never did straighten,
Plucked from the fire to condemn.

Now I stood before the angel,
Being clothed in filthy garments;
He stood and acted cordial,
But said I looked worse than varmints.

He told me from him to remove,
To take away iniquity;
Clothe in purity to improve,
And cleanse my sinful nudity.

The Lord has taken sin away,
And Clothing me with pure vestments;
Taught me how to trust and obey,
Curing me from any ailments.

A clean turban upon my head,
And clothed in garments of white;
Given the Scriptures to be fed,
For assisting me with insight.

The angel of the Lord assured me,
So, walk in His ways says the Lord;
To keep His charge and I will see,
How to remain in one accord.

Then he lets me to rule His house,
And for having charge of His court;
But remain humble as a mouse,
And give access who will support.

Right of access those who stand here,
Hear now God made me a high priest;
My friends who sit that I love dear,
I bring my servant for the feast.

On the stone that He set before,
A single stone with seven eyes;
Sees the land on a distant shore,
Declared the Lord that have been wise.

For in that day declares the Lord,
All of you invite your neighbor;
Under the tree for His reward,
And in resting of their labor.
