I ask you to respect,
The ones that do labor;
Do not ever neglect,
The things of your neighbor.

For they do for the Lord,
You should not admonish;
Their work not be ignored,
Or try to abolish.

Esteem them very high,
In love because their deeds;
Be at peace as you try,
Catering to their needs.

I urge you not idle,
Helping those who are weak;
Doing what is vital,
To help the low and meek.

Pay no one for evil,
Seek to do what is good;
Work not for the devil,
Only do what you should.

Rejoice throughout each day,
And pray without ceasing;
If you always obey,
Your joy is increasing.

Always give thanks to God,
Because this is His will;
Giving honor and laud,
His blessings will instill.

Do not quench the Spirit,
Despise not prophecies;
Consider the merit,
Not as some lunacies.

But test everything,
Hold fast to what is good;
The goodness God will bring,
In His Word understood.

Abstain from all evil,
So, God may sanctify;
Avoiding the devil,
And his works to defy.

Greet brothers with a kiss,
Keep an oath with the Lord;
That His grace be your bliss.
To stay in one accord.
