Unity Yet Diversity

Just as the body is as one,
It is having many members;
So is it with Jesus the Son,
Or fire have burning embers.

In one Spirit we were baptized,
All baptized into one body;
Circumcised or uncircumcised,
Baptized for becoming holy.

All made to drink of one Spirit,
For one body are of many;
But performing the same merit,
That God rewards all with plenty.

For the foot is not like a hand,
But is a very vital part;
Because it assists us to stand,
And is assisted by the heart.

The ear is never like the eye,
For the eye always lets us see;
As the brain tries to wonder why,
The direction we need to be.

If the whole body was an eye,
How could we have a sense to hear;
For we see and able to cry,
But we listen with our ear.

For the ear has no sense of smell,
As well as the nose would not speak;
But the eye is able to tell,
What to find wherever we seek.

God has arranged the many parts,
Each one of them as He chose;
Two hands, two eyes, but not two hearts,
Two ears, two feet, just one nose.

By what has made Him delighted,
Many members to become one;
Many members are united,
And will become part of the Son.

Yet one body with many parts,
Each part has a certain duty;
Because of what the brain imparts,
As the eyes see all the beauty.

For God has created the mind,
So, each part will know of each need;
Working together as to find,
Necessity to do each deed.
