My father I loved him so much
I admired his strength of mind~
To endure all he indeed endured
Stood tall lef the past behind~

He since being born long ago
He never was to do a wrong~
How I looked up to his being so
To be half the man all along~

Regardless of life's diversities
He always walked the line~
A man who was true to himself
His values in life totally divine~

A person much one of his word
A gentle heart so good so true~
My father such a loving man
My dad the very man I knew~

A free mason way back when
He lived his life above all wrong~
My dad the best friend I've had
To me he remains my song~

I strove to be half the man
My dad was in life to me~
From day one he knew the way
To do right until eternity~

Regardless of all my mum did
He was respected endlessly
But never any others fool
A man of in life total integrity

I've followed his values always
Not an easy task in this life
Suffered and took all head on
No matter what the strife

Gave his all to all he adored
Spent most of his life alone
My mother had a gypsies soul
My father all love to the bone

Always brilliant in all he did
And in life he did it all so well
Often without earned credit
Helped all in town in life I tell

He bit the bullet of all diversity
And his stamina never ever faded
Remained diligent come what may
Could never in life be down graded

I adored this man of such patience
The kind I wished I had as he
My own father my very hero
Again one day he I know I'll see
