I dream of a place I want to return, 
A place I’ve been to before.
Where sandy beaches and crystal clear waters line the island shores.
A place where the weather is always warm,
A tropical paradise.
Coconut trees reach to the skies
and fields that grow white rice.
A place where people always smile
and lend a helping hand.
They welcome me with open arms
to their beautiful land.
I dream that someday I wake up,
and begin to pack my bag.
With my wife, who’s from this place,
We’ll live in Balingasag.
Balingasag is a village in the Philippines where my wife is from. It sits right next to the ocean and has a bay walk with amazing views. Someday we will live there but until then, I can only dream.
