Love must be fed and nurtured.
Philippians 1
Most people never associate prayer with pop music.
One artist made a song called 'I Pray For You' after a break-up with his girlfriend.
Philippians 1:3-4
The Apostle Paul prayed for the people.
In many of the letters, he included prayers for the people.
The Apostle Paul had a deep and abiding prayer life.
The Apostle Paul prayed for love in Philippians 1:9-11
Love is the sum of the Apostle Paul's love.
He prayed for their love, which is the hallmark of their faith.
Faith is important and hope is vital.
Love is the culminating hallmark.
I can't be a good Christian without love.
A mother's love is always there.
Philippians 1:9-11 highlight four attributes of mature love.
My love should be plentiful according to Philippians 1:9a.
My love should abound still more and more.
For You so loved the world that You gave Your Only Begotten Son according to John 3:16.
In Philippians and the letters You wrote through the Apostle Paul, You speak of loving the Church and Your people are the Church.
The Apostle Paul prayed that their love for one another would abound and be plentiful.
Romans 5
Youe love has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit according to Romans 5:5.
You never ran out of love.
The love You have given me shall flow out of my heart.
The lack of love is the greatest evil.
The people in our paths should be live saturated.
My love should be perceptive according to Philippians 1:9b and 10a.
This love should have knowledge and discernment to be safe.
Love without direction and discretion can cause destruction and/or devastation.
Knowledge puffs up while love builds up.
Love needs knowledge in order to be responsible love.
Love based on pure emotion can cause devastation.
Matthew 18
Mature love is not based on sentimentality, feeling or emotion.
2 Peter 1
Discernment means mature insight.
To discern something is to make a difference.
Love is expressed in different ways at different times.
Agape love is Your love for us.
1 Corinthians 13:6
Love does not rejoice in iniquity but in truth.
Knowledge and discernment are needed in order to approve the things that are excellent.
Love should be a responsible love that is balanced with truth.
Love is not a feeling and love is not letting a person do whatever they want.
