It is the glory of God,
For concealing of such things;
And searching what is outlawed,
Rather than glory of kings.

As the heights from in Heaven,
And from the depths of the earth;
So, hearts of kings is given,
Shows unsearchable true worth.

Dross from silver take away,
Of a vessel for the finer;
Impurities cause to stray,
From one who is a whiner.

Take away all the wicked,
From the presence of the king;
Who has caused the afflicted,
In suffering from the sting.

Do not put yourself forward,
In the presence of the king;
But stand in place for the Lord,
Praising Him while you sing.

Stand in the place of the great,
It is better to be told;
That God will seal their fate,
What your eyes will see unfold.

Bring not hastily to court,
What you will do in the end;
When your neighbor tries to thwart,
As they decide to offend.

Debate cause with your neighbor,
Do not reveal a secret;
Argue blest by the Savior,
In your mind with no regret.

Lest he who hears you bring shame,
Your ill repute has no end;
A Word fitly to proclaim,
You are able to defend.

A reprover to the ear,
A ring of gold to the eye;
Bringing out the greatest fear,
Which exposes any lie.

Like the cold snow in time.
As clouds and wind without rain;
If a man boasts of a crime.
He will have eternal pain.
