I will give thanks to the Lord,
Lovingly with my whole heart;
He is beloved and adored,
All of His Word I impart.

I recount wonderful deeds,
Exulting and will be glad;
Catering to all my needs,
Keeping me from feeling sad.

With confidence I proclaim,
Throughout the day and the night;
I will sing praising His name,
Through my pleasure and delight.

My enemies are turned back,
As they stumble and perish;
Because of the faith they lack,
That I so humbly cherish.

He has maintained my just cause,
Sitting on the judgment seat;
Able to cure all my flaws,
Knowing Him makes me complete.

He has rebuked the nations,
Making the wicked perish;
Looking at His creations,
Preserving them to cherish.

Enemies came to an end,
In everlasting ruins;
Their cities could not defend,
Against God’s mighty weapons.

But the Lord has sat enthroned,
Established throne for justice;
Rebukes what is not condoned,
By such immoral practice.

The world judged for righteousness,
Uprightness judges people;
Those praising get assuredness,
As written in the Gospel.

A stronghold for the oppressed,
Sheltered in times of trouble;
Saving them from the obsessed,
That attempt toil to stumble.

Those who are knowing His name,
Are putting their trust in Him;
Willingness as to proclaim,
Will never be feeling grim.
