No need to hate yourself
When there’s plenty in line
To judge your life
As a curse
A waste of consummation
Its au currant
To put the blame where
It logically never lies
Too painful to gaze into the eyes of deceit
Nary a conscience to be found
The cheating of existence
And you wonder why there’s
No itch
Burning desire to connect.

You could get lost in the conspiracy theories
Or trapped in the belief
Life is one dreary task after another
There’s many who want to smother your dreams
As they have no imagination to spare
As if taking selfishly is a career to be proud of
But you can shout from the roof
You’d be fine if everyone just sees it your way
Yet history has proved that satisfaction is relative
And you have no right to offer an opinion
When you’ve always played the absent householder.
