The Throne of God

My heart overflows with pleasing,
With a song of love that I write;
I address my verse to the king,
My tongue has been shining the light.

You are the most handsome of sons,
Fairer than the children of men;
Grace has poured out while it runs,
From the blessings of God again.

Gird up your sword upon the thigh,
For splendor and the majesty;
Honor glory of the most High,
Being humbled with modesty.

A lofty ride victorious,
For the cause of truth and meekness;
Teaching awesome deeds glorious,
Letting God to shield your weakness.

Your arrows are sharp in the heart,
Of the enemies of the king;
The people fall as you impart,
Praises to the Lord that you sing.

The throne of God is forever,
With the scepter of uprightness;
As a doctrine will not sever,
For offering His righteousness.

For you have loved the righteousness,
That has hated all wickedness;
Using of your audaciousness,
God anointed you with gladness.

Your robes have an aloe fragrance,
As well as aroma of myrrh;
For your tolerance and patience,
With someone who would speak a slur.

Out of ivory palaces,
Stringed instruments making you glad;
While toasting with the chalices,
No longer in need to feel sad.

Ladies of honor are the daughters,
Honorable girls of the king;
Have bathed in purified waters,
As glory and honor they bring.

Upon the right hand stands the queen,
With wearing jewelry of gold;
Such beauty and charm you have seen,
Of a monarchy to behold.
