Humility and gentleness,
Bearing with each other in love;
With such patience and faithfulness,
From His love that flows from above.

Keep unity of His Spirit,
Maintaining in the bond of peace;
Through our thoughts and the merit,
Allow hostilities to cease.

Only one body and Spirit,
Which will be calling for one hope;
One Lord and faith to inherit,
Through baptism giving the scope.

Of one God and Father of all,
Through His grace that has been given;
A gift of Christ buffers a fall,
For righteously access Heaven.

When He ascended up on high,
He had led a host of captives;
Giving us gifts that would apply,
Reuniting with relatives.

What is it when He descended,
Into lower regions of earth;
As to that you are defended,
In order to give you new birth.

He who descended is the One,
Also ascended far above;
Who is as the begotten Son,
Providing others with His love.

He gave disciples and teachers,
The prophets and evangelists;
Equipping them to be preachers,
Through faith as being loyalists.

He equipped the saints with duty.
For the work of the ministry;
Of Christ building up the beauty,
That reveals of the mystery.

The unity of faith attains,
And the knowledge about the Son;
The wisdom of the Lord contains,
As Scriptures prove what He has done.
